Boxer Trying to Look Fancy By Wearing Her Pearls to Dinner Is Beyond Precious
Begone sweatpants! When it comes time for the holidays we forgo the grubby clothes we usually wear around the house and put on our Sunday best. And that goes for dogs too! One Boxer decided to step things up a notch at Thanksgiving this year by showing up to the feast in some very fancy jewelry. And now a video of the dog showing off her "pearls" has people obsessed online.
Poppy wanted to look nice for company. So of course she had to wear something a little out of the ordinary.
The Boxer was all donned up and ready to show off her jewelry! In the clip her mama shared, the dog was just a little bit testy. She was hungry! But just like everyone else on Thanksgiving, the poor dog had to wait (and wait) to be fed.

"Poppy was a whole mood.. cried until the food was ready, ate, then went home to sleep and watched her iPad without a thank you," her mom joked in the caption. "HOWEVER, Poppy was looking quite divine in her custom pearls," she added. Pearls that she'd received as a gift from a follower. How sweet!
Poppy had people rolling in the comments section. "The Princess is like ‘I’m all dressed up with my finest pearls’…why ain’t the food ready??!!" wrote one commenter. "That step back was everything!! She is not playing around Princess Poppy said she came to get her plate and go HOME!!! Poppy is me," joked another commenter. "Poppy dressed up way more than I did for thanksgiving," another commenter teased. "Poppy said 'when I see turkey, THEN they may see my pearls. Until then, I will be awaiting my Thanksgiving feast,'" kidded one person.
Boxer Temperament
Poppy really is a princess isn't she? She knows what she wants and she demands it. But is that behavior normal for Boxers? Boxers normally have a friendly temperament. They love people and can be very sweet. But most of all they're known for their love of humans.
This is perhaps not as much true when a Boxer is hungry (like Poppy here), but in general they are very affectionate pets. You do have to be careful with Boxers and young children, however. These dogs tend to jump, which can be dangerous for little ones. That shouldn't put you off from getting a Boxer completely. Just be aware that these pups aren't for every family situation.
As for Poppy, we totally understand where she's coming from. She got all dressed up for a meal and darn it she was ready to eat!
